Beste rijders,
Wat een jaar, wat een seizoen!
Wat een mooi raceseizoen in 2020 zou gaan worden, met de nieuwe hoofdsponsor RECO autoschade, en met bijvoorbeeld Dijon op de kalender , en natuurlijk de HGP als ultiem raceweekend, werd toch alles anders door corona.
Een terugblik, maar ook een vooruitblik naar het seizoen 2021!
Eigenlijk ieder raceweekend stond in de steigers, maar werd veelal kort voor “de start” afgeblazen, gecanceld, omdat de COVID-19 pandemie iedereen parten speelde, en de gezondheid staat wel op nummer één, dus daar moet alles voor wijken, begrijpelijk!
Gelukkig kon de Historic Grand Prix van Zandvoort 2020 wel doorgaan, in een iets andere vorm dan gebruikelijk, maar de aanwezigen hebben toch wel genoten van dit weekend, een heel vol veld met historische raceauto’s , 1 kwalificatie en 3 races!
Niet te min, was het een onzekere tijd, om plannen en afspraken te maken, contacten waren er op korte termijn met de circuits, voor het bestuur een lastige taak!
Het bestuur wil jullie, PD-houders en “losse rijders” dan ook bedanken voor het geduld en loyaliteit in deze.
Ook dit jaar nog meer het vermelden waard, is dankzij onze trouwe sponsoren de NK RECO GTTC een volwaardige raceklasse op de nationale en internationale circuits! Zeer bedankt voor de sponsoring en dat we volgend seizoen weer op jullie mogen rekenen!
Zoals gebruikelijk ieder jaar, volgde een gezellige bijeenkomst, als afsluiting van een seizoen, tsja ook die kon nu niet georganiseerd vanwege de huidige maatregelen.
Maar wat in het vat zit, verzuurd niet!
Dan vooruitkijkend naar volgend jaar:
Ondanks de onzekere corona perikelen, plannen we toch vooruit en zijn we bijna klaar met de kalender voor seizoen 2021!
Waarschijnlijk komen we tot 5 raceweekenden, waarvan je er 4 alvast inde agenda kunt zetten:
Historic Zandvoort Trophy 15-16 mei
Spa Summerclassic 25-27 juni
Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort 16-18 juli
Dijon Motors Cup. 1-3 oktober
Zodra de 5e race is bevestigd, bieden we een nieuwe Package Deal aan. En voor alle Package Deal-houders van 2020 zullen we een speciale aanbieding doen om dit voor zo weinig mogelijk extra kosten te krijgen. Package-deal houders van 2020 kunnen natuurlijk ook beslissen voor een terugbetaling, dit betekent dat je alleen het HGP van 700 euro betaalt. We verwachten jullie zo spoedig mogelijk te informeren over de laatste ontwikkelingen via de website en per mail.

Dear drivers,
What a year, what a season!
What was going to be a great racing season in 2020, with the new main sponsor RECO car-damage repair compagny, and with, for example, Dijon on the calendar, and of course the HGP as the ultimate racing weekend, everything changed due to corona.
A look back, but also a look ahead to the 2021 season!
Every race weekend was actually in the scaffolding, but was often canceled shortly before “the start”, because the COVID-19 pandemic played tricks on everyone, and health is number one, so everything has to give way to that, understandable!
Fortunately, the Historic Grand Prix of Zandvoort 2020 could take place, in a slightly different form than usual, but the attendees did enjoy this weekend, a very full field with historic racing cars, 1 qualifying and 3 races!
Nevertheless, it was an uncertain time to make plans and appointments, there were short-term contacts with the circuits, a difficult task for the board!
The board would like to thank you, PD holders and “casual drivers” for the patience and loyalty in this.
Also worth mentioning this year, thanks to our loyal sponsors, the NK RECO GTTC is a full-fledged racing class on the national and international circuits! Thank you very much for sponsoring and that we can count on you again next season!
As usual every year, a pleasant meeting followed, to end a season, well that could not be organized now due to the current measures.
Then looking ahead to next year:
Despite the uncertain corona troubles, we plan ahead and we are almost done with the calendar for the 2021 season!
We will probably arrive at 5 race weekends, of which you can already put 4 in the agenda:
Historic Zandvoort Trophy May 15-16,
Spa Summerclassic June 25-27,
Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort July 16-18
Dijon Motors Cup October 1-3
Once the 5th race is confirmed we will offer a new Package Deal. And for all Package Deal holders from 2020, we will make a special offer to get this for as little extra cost as possible. Package deal holders of 2020 can of course also decide for a refund, this means that you only pay the HGP of 700 euros. We expect to inform you as soon as possible about the latest developments via the website and by email.
