ZANDVOORT (1 maart 2018) – De zevende editie van de Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort vindt plaats van 31 augustus tot en met 2 september 2018. De tienduizenden bezoekers krijgen ook dit jaar weer een mix van internationale topseries voorgeschoteld, inclusief twee spectaculaire nieuwkomers. Maak u op voor drie dagen historische Formule 1, Formule 3, DTM, ‘Le Mans’ sportscars en nog veel, veel meer! Wie vóór 1 april toegangskaarten aanschaft is bovendien extra voordelig uit. Wereldwijd dragen vier historische raceklassen met trots het officiële FIA-stempel. De Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort is het enige evenement waar al deze klassen in actie komen. De Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort is het toneel van de eerste editie van de nieuwe FIA Historic Formula 3 European Cup, voor Formule 3-auto’s uit de periode 1971 – 1984. Circuit Zandvoort krijgt deze eer als erkenning voor de lange en rijke Formule 3-geschiedenis. Deze begon bijna 70 jaar geleden met races van de 500 cc Formule 3-klasse, dit jaar weer van de partij tijdens de Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort. De wereldberoemde Masters of Formula 3 is onlosmakelijk aan Circuit Zandvoort verbonden. Het FIA Formula 3 European Championship komt ook dit jaar weer op Circuit Zandvoort in actie tijdens het inmiddels traditionele Zandvoortse DTM-raceweekend. DTM-spektakel De klasse Tourenwagen Classics laat het verleden van onder meer de DTM uit de jaren ’80 en ’90 herleven. De Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort ontvangt voor de eerste keer een prachtig startveld met DTM-klassiekers zoals de Mercedes 190 Evo 2, BMW M3 en Alfa 155 V6. De slagroom op de smakelijke taart zijn DTM-coryfeeën zoals Roland Asch, Kurt Thiim en Altfrid Heger die zich met regelmaat in de strijd mengen! Formule 1 en veel meer De bekende publiekslievelingen verschijnen ook aan de start. Het FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship, voor Formule 1-auto’s uit de periode 1966 – 1985, neemt de toeschouwers mee naar de tijden van de Grand Prix van Nederland. Het FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship staat onder meer open voor bulderende ‘Le Mans’ sportprototypes uit de periode 1962 – 1974. De FIA Lurani Trophy voor Formule Junior auto’s behoort tot de juweeltjes van de historische autosport én tot de favorieten van veel bezoekers aan de Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort. Goed nieuws: de klasse Historic Formula 2 keert terug in de Zandvoortse duinen. Vólle velden De klassen Gentlemen Drivers (GT’s tot 1966) en Pre ’66 Touring Cars rijden, net als vorig jaar, samen met de GT’s of toerwagens uit het NK Historische Toerwagens en GT’s. Daarmee zijn volle, competitieve startvelden en mooie duels gegarandeerd. Dat geldt traditioneel ook voor het STATE of ART – NK GTTC, de succesvolle Nederlandse klasse voor toerwagens en GT’s uit de periode 1966 – 1981. Spraakmakende, bijzondere demo’s behoren traditioneel tot de hoogtepunten van elke Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort. De organisatie van het evenement werkt momenteel hard om ook dit jaar weer de verwachtingen te overtreffen! Actie: toegang vanaf 15 euro Tot en met 31 maart zijn de toegangsprijzen in de voorverkoop verlaagd. Een dagkaart voor het duinterrein kost de komende weken slechts 15 euro (vanaf 1 april: € 17,50). Voor maar 25 euro bent u drie dagen lang welkom. Dat is vijf euro goedkoper dan de voorverkoopprijzen vanaf 1 april. Het prijskaartje van een paddockkaart, inclusief toegang tot de hoofdtribune en het duinterrein, bedraagt tot 1 april 25 euro (dagkaart) en 45 euro (drie dagen). Daarna worden de voorverkoopprijzen met vijf euro verhoogd. Kinderen tot 14 jaar hebben gratis toegang. | Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort presents an impressive international programme |
| ZANDVOORT (1 March, 2018) – From 31 August until 2 September, 2018, Circuit Zandvoort will be hosting the seventh running of the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort. This year, once again, the tens of thousands of spectators will be treated to a mix of international top-level series that includes two spectacular new categories. Get ready for three days of historic Formula 1, Formula 3, DTM, Le Mans style sports cars and much, much more! Tickets are available at reduced rates in pre-sale until 1 April.
Worldwide, only four historic racing categories can proudly boast about official FIA status. The Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort is the only event where all these categories will be on track. The Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort will be setting the stage for the inaugural FIA Historic Formula 3 European Cup, open to Formula 3 cars built between 1971 and the end of 1984. Circuit Zandvoort has been appointed as the venue for the event to acknowledge the track’s long and rich heritage in Formula 3. This started almost 70 years ago with rounds of the 500 cc Formula 3 class that will be back for this year’s Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort. The world-renowned Masters of Formula 3 is also a part of Zandvoort’s heritage. This year, the FIA Formula 3 European Championship will be back at Circuit Zandvoort during the DTM event that has become a tradition in its own right. DTM tin top action The ‘Tourenwagen Classics’ series revives the history of the DTM from the 1980s and 90s, among others. For the first time, the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort will be welcoming an impressive field of DTM classics like the Mercedes 190 Evo 2, BMW M3 and Alfa 155 V6. Formula 1, and much more Of course, the familiar crowd’s favourites will be present, too. The FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship with Formula 1 cars from 1966-1985 will bring back the spectators to the era of the Dutch Grand Prix. The FIA Masters Historic Sports Car Championship accommodates, among others, brawny Le Mans style sports prototypes from 1962-1974. The FIA Lurani Trophy for Formula Junior cars ranks among the jewels of historic motorsport and is one of the favourites for many spectators of the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort. Further good news is the return of the Historic Formula 2 class to the Zandvoort dunes. Full grids Like last year, the Gentlemen Drivers (pre-1966 GTs) and Pre-66 Touring car classes will be combined with the GTs and the touring cars from the Dutch historic touring car and GT championship (NK HTGT). This is a guarantee for full competitive grids and thrilling duels. The same can be said about the STATE of ART – NK GTTC, the successful Dutch category for touring cars and GTs from 1966-1981. Spectacular and special demonstration runs also traditionally rank among the highlights of every Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort. Currently, the event organisers are working hard to exceed expectations once again this year! Promotion: ticket prices start at 15 Euros Until 1 April, ticket prices have been reduced in pre-sale. A day pass with dune access can be bought at only 15 Euros throughout the next weeks (from 1 April: 17.50 Euros). At only 25 Euros, you have access on all three days, a reduction of five Euros compared to the pre-sale ticket prices valid from 1 April. A paddock pass including grandstand and dune access can be bought at 25 Euros (day pass) and 45 Euros (three-day pass) until 1 April. After that, prices will be increased by five Euros. Access for children under 14 years of age is free. Access to the exclusive Paddock Club is available for anyone wanting to enjoy the Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort in Formula 1 style. |
