Over een ruime maand is onze volgende race: de Historic Grand Prix (HGP) op Zandvoort waar wij de kwalificatie en 1 race op vrijdag 29 augustus rijden en onze 2e race op zaterdag 30 augustus. Zondag zijn er ook nog races, waaronder de historische formule 1 en Groep C, dus zeker de moeite waard nog een dag te blijven!
De inschrijvingen voor dit geweldige evenement verlopen voorspoedig, we zijn de 40 auto’s al voorbij. Daarbij heeft het YTCC zich vorige week teruggetrokken van de HGP (zie http://www.harc.nl/news/26/59/Youngtimers—Historic-Grand-Prix-Zandvoort-2014/) en haar raceweekend verplaatst naar de 24u van Zolder, overigens ook een prachtig evenement. Dat betekent extra ruimte in ons veld, en we hebben besloten de volle 55 startplaatsen te gaan benutten. Ook zullen rijders die voornemens waren in het YTCC deel te rijden een plaats geboden worden, in onze invitee klasse, hetgeen betekent dat je buiten het Nederlands Kampioenschap meedoet, dat overigens ook als zo was met de beoogde YTCC samenwerking. Daarbij blijft de leeftijdsgrens voor dit evenement ook verhoogd tot en met 1985.
Kortom, als je je nog niet ingeschreven hebt, doe dat dan alsnog en bemachtig een startplaats op dit topevenement. We zullen binnen enkele weken de deelnemerslijst publiceren, maar kan nu al melden dat er een aantal bekende coureurs op staan en absoluut bijzondere auto’s en weer ‘nieuwe’ rijders voor ons veld!

In a month we will have our next race: the Historic Grand Prix (HGP) at Zandvoort. We will qualify and race on Friday the 29th of August and have our 2nd race on Saturday the 30th of August. There are also a lot of great races on Sunday, like the Historic F1 and Group C, so staying for one extra day is a recommendation!
Of course do subscriptions for this great event go really great: already more than 40 drivers have subscribed so far. As the YTCC has withdrawn their participation at the HGP and moved to the 24h of Zolder (see http://www.harc.nl/news/26/59/Youngtimers—Historic-Grand-Prix-Zandvoort-2014/), we have decided to use the full 55 startplaces for the NKGTTC. Also drivers who want or wanted to particpate in the YTCC field can still participate, in our Invivation class, meaning you do not compete for the Dutch Championship title. The car age limit is kept till (and including) 1985 for this event.
So, if you would like to particpate and haven’t subscribed yet, don’t wait any langer and get a place at the starting grid of this truly great event. In a couple of weeks we will publish the drivers list, but I can already tell you the list includes some famous drivers and special cars already, and some ‘new’ GTTC drivers!
